Hello! I am Shruti Bhardwaj, a passionate BTech Biotechnology 3rd year student at the School of Biological and Biomedical Sciences. My journey in biotechnology is driven by my curiosity about the intersection of biology, technology, and with the passion for exploring how science and technology can solve real-world problems. With a strong commitment to continuous learning, I am also working on enhancing my programming skills in Python and R. I believe that integrating computational tools with biotechnology has the potential to unlock transformative solutions. Outside the lab and classroom, I enjoy fitness, language learning, and exploring creative outlets such as editing. Leading the strategic and day-to-day operations of GCC, managing teams, events, and inter-club collaborations. Driving planning, execution, and member engagement while mentoring coordinators and representing the club in official forums.
Project Title: PGPR Mediated Priming for Enhanced Defense in Wheat against Bipolaris sorokiniana Key Learnings & Responsibilities: 1. Conducted experimental work on wheat–pathogen interactions under PGPR-mediated priming. 2. Gained hands-on experience in microbiological techniques, laboratory equipment handling, and culture maintenance. 3. Designed and executed experiments, collected data, and performed interpretation and analysis. 4. Developed problem-solving, analytical, and independent research skills while working in a collaborative environment. 5. Strengthened understanding of plant–microbe interactions and their applications in sustainable agriculture.
