Research project: Cochrane Review: Computerised cognitive assessments in people aged 65 and over in a primary or secondary care setting Determined the cross-sectional diagnostic accuracy of concise computerized neuropsychological tests at various thresholds for screening and/or diagnosis of cognitive impairment (including dementia and dementia sub-types) in people aged 65 and over. Researched the heterogeneity of content precision in the studies included. Highlighted the quality and quantity of research proof accessible on the viability of the record tests in the objective populace. Winter Research Scholar project: Won Scholarship by UQ for the project. Quality Indicators for the Aged Aimed to develop outcome, process, and structure quality indicators in relation to common geriatric syndromes and function for the care of the frail aged hospitalized in acute general medical wards and the emergency department. Part of the project at the concluding stages where my involvement included identifying and providing unique insight into the methodology for developing quality indicators, data entry and manipulating complex data sets using SPSS.
