Hey, I’m Shravan Tickoo. I bootstrapped Rethink Systems to $1M in revenue in year one — no VC, no co-founder. Just a simple thesis: most products don’t fail because of bad ideas. They fail because the people building them can’t think clearly under pressure. I’ve spent a decade building products at Flipkart, BlackBuck, Times Group, BYJU’S, and later as Director of Product at Bhanzu. Different companies. Different scales. Same underlying problem — brilliant teams building things they couldn’t explain to a stranger in 30 seconds. So I built a company to fix that. Today, Rethink Systems is one of India’s largest product management ecosystems — 200K+ LinkedIn followers, 190M+ annual impressions, 45K+ YouTube subscribers, and 500+ alumni working at Microsoft, Google, Meta, Uber, LinkedIn, FedEx, and multiple unicorns. Our flagship program, Mastering Product Management 2.0, isn’t a course — it’s a build environment. PMs learn AI-first execution, systems design, and product thinking using Systems thinking and instruction design at the core of it . They ship real products before the cohort ends. Not mock PRDs. If someone leaves Rethink with only notes, I consider that a failure. I also lecture at IITs, IIMs, Masters’ Union, and NTU Singapore. My curriculum draws inspiration from an unlikely source — the Bhagavad Gita. Clarity over cleverness. Detachment from outcomes. Discipline as identity, not willpower. I genuinely believe it’s the greatest product management document ever written — and yes, that’s a hill I’m willing to die on. As an angel investor, I’ve backed 15+ startups across India, the US, Canada, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. I write small checks and offer feedback that feels uncomfortable for 24 hours but remains useful for years. That’s the deal. I also run SWAG WALA PM, where I teach through stories, memes, and frameworks that actually stick. Because if your insight needs a 40-slide deck to land, it’s not an insight — it’s a hostage situation. Most people don’t lose because they lack talent. They lose because they quit in the boring middle. I didn’t. That’s the whole story. If you do the boring things well, long enough, you win by default.
