As Head of Human Resources at Instawork, I led the transformation of our HR and People functions across the U.S. and Canada, significantly enhancing employee engagement and retention. -Built the People/HR/DEI strategy and culture framework to support our growth plans, including building the first employee resource group for women and allies. -Implement and develop a comprehensive onboarding and off boarding program resulting in increased retention rates by 20%. -Owned setting up all new hires in our HRIS system and providing them with proper equipment prior to their start date, doing 30-60-90 day check-ins with each employee to ensure the best possible employee experience. -Lead and Implement effective communication and training strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding for company policies and planning. This was done through leading and presenting at All Hands meetings, monthly company wide newsletters and creating proper slack channels. -Spearhead quarterly ENPS and activities while continually fielding and responding to employee feedback, questions, and/or concerns.
