As an Apprentice NVQ Coach is was my duty to manage, coach and proactively assess all quality aspects of BTEC, NVQ, Diploma and essential/functional skills whilst providing coaching and support to the apprentices as defined by the processes and policies of the Apprenticeship Scheme. ollowing my 3 year L3 apprenticeship in telecoms I went to work as a copper service deliver engineer in the north Wales area. My key responsibilities were providing and repairing copper & fibre telephony services for both residential and business customers. Part of this role I also mentored & coached new engineers to help them develop their skills learnt in the training school and help them become competent in their roles.
