• Outline a well-defined project management process or methodology • Reporting overall progress and health of projects, financial information i.e. budget, forecast, actuals, margins etc., project risks and risk mitigation progress, operational efficiency, and project performance • Research, analyze/document current PMO practices and help define opportunities for improvement and maturity • Identify, track, manage, and resolve project issues • Integrate and manage reporting requirements across multiple stakeholders - create presentation materials for workshops, Steering Committees and other project stakeholders • Closely involved in successfully onboarding multiple clients (negotiations - winning an engagement – planning – transitioning – go live)
• Assisting clients in managing outsourcing and shared services • Monitor the performance against the contract to check whether the performance is in range of the metrics established in the contract or if there is a variance • Supporting six key areas of outsourcing and shared services: o Relationship Management: Reducing costs and improving performance through strategic long-term supplier relationships. A firm may be routinely paying for overages for the number of calls handled for example. We would not only see this trend in the data but also escalate it to the client and make a recommendation to solve for it. o Financial Management: Comparing invoices to the contract terms. Rate validation would also be a part of financial management. Invoice verification against contract terms o Process Risk and Compliance Management: Implementing programs to strategically evaluate and address supplier risk and compliance. Provide an online tracking tool for client related compliance events. We then monitor to ensure that the compliance activities or milestones are as dictated by the contract o Contract Management: Maintaining a contract repository that can be searched for contract details. Provide a process and tool for clients to complete other contract management related functions, such as the contract change requests. An example might be an automated submission and approval process for contract changes o Change Management: Provide a workflow engine to manage contract changes. Processing and tracking approved contract changes. Essentially, we track monitor and approve changes to the contract o Service Quality and Performance Management: Developing tools and processes to streamline supplier interactions and improve supplier performance
• Coordinate with executives to translate business questions into verifiable hypothesis and data models • Advocate exploration of interesting data anomalies or patterns that may add value to the client preposition • Partner closely with business and technical teams to understand their project objectives and provide data-backed solutions and recommendations • Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable • Design and develop data components and processes that extract and transform data across disparate databases for reporting and analytics, ensuring integrity of data • Work on a variety of analytical problems and provide thought leadership • Interact with onsite team as well as client on daily/weekly basis to gather requirements/provide updates • Be involved in business development through pre-sales/operational support
• Work collaboratively with onshore KPMG teams to understand project objectives, scope, and deliverables • Conceive, design and execute secondary research on: - Company: Business model, segments, revenue model, strategy, issues / challenges, M&A history, competitive positioning, organization structure, key management, recent developments, SWOT, etc. - Market: Industry value chain, size and growth outlook, trends and drivers, growth inhibitors and challenges, competitive landscape, Porter’s / PESTLE analysis, etc. - Financials: Broad analysis of income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, ratios, segment performance, etc. - Competitors: Comparative performance of companies on financial and operational KPIs, relative strengths and weaknesses, etc. • Extensively working on databases such as Hoovers, Factiva, Capital IQ, LexisNexis etc. • Participating in client calls for project scoping and seeking feedback to ensure continuous improvement • Actively working on enhancement of research products portfolio by analysis of activity, trends and by obtaining/analyzing client/account feedback
• Conduct global primary and secondary research to analyze various industries. • Responsible for secondary research as well as primary research to understand most disruptive and growing parts of the technology industry • Conducting telephone interviews with CIOs/CTOs/IT managers/business decision-makers across the globe • This includes making voice calls to countries like Singapore, Malaysia, United States, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, some European countries, etc. • Secondary and desk research • Data quality leveraging Excel and other tools
