• Responsible for handling trade content development team for various countries including Latin America, Asia and EMEA regions. • Actively involved in the development, management and execution of Global Trade Content, combining classification codes, Product / HS classification, customs duty and fee schedules (Landed cost elements), excise, VAT, certificate of origin, restricted /denied-party lists, trade documentation, Prohibitions, Licenses, rules of origin, and analysis of various preferential and Free Trade Agreements on a regular basis like; NAFTA, CAFTA, ASEAN, ALADI, EU, CARICOM, etc. • Responsible for handing the restricted party /denied party screening and Export controls. • Build up and maintain relationship with overseas contractors, vendors, customs officials, chamber of commerce, economic and trade promotion canters, government agencies and ministries to procure information on various aspects of international trade. • Gather, researched and provide the client specific information and perform complex analysis in support of business requirements and feasibility study in terms of economical and adherence to compliance and competency. • Functional testing of a Web Based Application for Global Trade designed for Aptean USA, Bug Reporting and Bug analysis. • Interact and coordinate with the technical experts and engineers for automation of the trade Content to build Automated Global Trade Solutions. • Responsible for developing intensive Global Trade Compliance program and training newly hired employees to improvise the supported trade content. • Hiring right talent for the requirements, training and mentoring resources on technical skills. • Providing import and export solutions that ensure compliance with trade regulations from various countries. • Creating Product test scenarios and product demonstrations to the customers. • Interpreting and implementing of trade information from governments, international trade organizations.
• Responsible for handling team to receive invoices, creating Purchase orders, matching and validating POs / invoices, providing POs for all Terminal and Marine activities of Mexico. • Managing accurate and timely processing of invoices.
