My own rule: Engineer is one who can do everything in anything. So be unique and think different. I am a Cloud HPC Engineer working in the Oil & Gas domain, specializing in designing and operating high-performance computing environments on AWS. My role focuses on enabling large-scale engineering simulation and parallel computing workloads for R&D teams through reliable, automated, and secure infrastructure. I manage and enhance CI/CD automation pipelines using GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, and AWS Lambda to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure deployments. I actively contribute to backend enhancements, adding new features and improving system performance across our HPC platform. I am responsible for onboarding and integrating commercial engineering applications such as Ansys, STAR-CCM+, and CONVERGE CFD into our HPC ecosystem. These services are delivered to end users through the NICE EnginFrame portal, with job orchestration handled via OpenPBS scheduler for distributed parallel execution. My experience includes managing and troubleshooting EFA-enabled compute nodes (CPU and GPU) to support MPI-based and high-performance parallel workloads. I work closely with networking, storage, and compute layers to maintain performance and reliability across distributed environments.
