I am currently a Final Year Medical Student at University College London, with a special focus on Paediatrics, O&G and Opthalmology, alongside a keen interest in Health Technology and innovation within the healthcare sector. Just last year, I had the honour of presenting my research at the British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) conference, invited by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) to deliver an oral presentation on transitional epilepsy care from paediatric to adult services. This experience underscored the significant gaps in adolescent healthcare and deepened my commitment to bridging these disparities. I am actively seeking opportunities to engage in impactful paediatric health projects and connect with professionals in the HealthTech industry to explore ways to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes through innovative technology. Achieved a distinction in my LTA coaching qualification course: I have grown up playing competitive tennis so decided to undertake an official LTA coaching course to be able to coach at my local club (TTC) and run holiday tennis camps.
Volunteered for 2.5 hours weekly for this duration, entertaining the residents by playing games with them, drawing and painting with them and helping to provide them with a wider emotional support network by being someone they could consistently talk to.
