***Hardware Lab Engineer with 15 Years of Experience in Lab Managing & operations. Planning and setting up new world-class R&D laboratories from the scratch – which involves, liaise with external parties (suppliers) and internal parties such as IT, Finance, Facilities, Purchasing and Logistics etc., to build the world-class labs. Understand R&D Development and Testing Teams technical requirements for the internal and external customer deliverables. Planning and execute the OPEX / CAPEX on timely manner – which involves, contacting the right vendors, negotiate and get best price with quality etc., liaise with Finance, Purchasing and Logistics etc., until the R&D teams requirements are fulfilled. Ensure the test systems are ready for end-users use, Lab Asset Inventory management & Tracking, Utilization Monitoring & reporting to management. Facing regular Audits, Maintaining Good lab Environment for work Implementing and enforcing Lab and IT best practices, processes and guidelines etc., Planning and executing periodic and regular calibrations, Preventive maintenance contracts with the respective vendors, handing repairs and upgrades etc., Maintaining good relationship with all vendors such as Tektronix, Keysight & Lecroy, etc. Holistic ownership of Lab assets – which reduces lab resource downtime, reduction in costs, and importantly helps to re-deploy on project need basis. Planning for new locations and spaces accounting for team growth budgeting. Hands on experience in all kinds of board level testing, debugging, assembly and rework. Expertise in SMD soldering including QFN, QFP, BGA, IC socket assembly and up to Nano level soldering and rework. Familiar with Schematic and PCB viewer tools (Allegro viewer & Vise Cad) and Task tracking tools like Super OPL and JIRA ticket system.
