Catenion is a biopharma consulting firm that specializes in strategy, innovation, and transformation within the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. As a Strategy Consultant, I supported biotech and pharma companies in navigating challenges across the entire lifecycle, from R&D to commercialization. I analyzed competitive landscapes for specific targets, indications, and modalities, assessed their commercial value, and designed strategies based on unmet medical needs and differentiation hypotheses.
Magna cum laude My research focused on investigating the role of the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) in modulating the functions of intestinal resident macrophages. Using techniques such as flow cytometry-based cell sorting, fluorescence microscopy, RNA sequencing, and qPCR analysis, I explored how macrophage polarization influences post-operative ileus. Specifically, my work examined the cross-talk between the SNS and tissue-resident macrophage polarization states, and how these interactions impact the development of post-operative ileus.
