- Analytical testing of a wide range of food and food products for pesticide residues using LC-MSMS techniques. - Make mobile phases, buffers, intermediate and calibration standards, sample spikes, and sample dilutions - Follow ISO 17025 procedures which ensures work is quality and consistent, and results generated are reliable - Process and analyse test results using MultiQuant software and Excel analyses worksheets - Regular calibration and maintenance of LC-MSMS instrumentation and other laboratory equipment - Instigate quality of work query for non-conforming work and concerns on health and safety - Issuing officer: review, update, and release operational documents - Assist other technicians, and guide entry level technicians as required
- Develop and optimise molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) and elution process for use in systems - Design and conduct experiments to assess MIP performance - Create project plan and manage project development using SmartSheet - Document work including research and experimental data using LabArchives - Collaborate with the chief science officer and present work progress to colleagues - Test samples generated from various projects using HPLC and LCMS - Regular maintenance of analytical instrumentation
