Relationship Manager | Humanitarian Professional | Conflicts and Humanitarian Researcher | Project Coordination Experienced humanitarian professional with a strong background in operations support, project coordination, and relationship management within Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). I have extensive experience working across complex and emergency contexts in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Latin America, supporting both field operations and organizational sustainability. I previously served as a Project Coordinator with MSF in Turkey and North Syria, where I monitored political and humanitarian developments, oversaw program implementation, ensured compliance with security and medical ethics, and provided detailed reporting to capital coordination teams. Since July 2017, I have worked as an Operations Support Officer within MSF’s Emergency Support Department (ESD), providing operational and administrative support to missions in Syria, Türkiye, Armenia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Uganda, DRC, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan (Floods Response), Venezuela, Ukraine, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. Since September 2024, I have also been working as a Relationship Manager at MSF within the Communication and Fundraising Department, focusing on expanding and strengthening donor engagement. My responsibilities include developing donor acquisition and retention strategies, managing relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and individual donors, and contributing to innovative initiatives that support long-term, values-based partnerships for MSF’s life-saving work. I hold an MA in Genocide and Holocaust Studies from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and NIOD, and a BA in English Translation from Damascus University, which have strengthened my analytical, research, and contextual understanding of conflict and humanitarian action. Languages: Arabic & Kurdish (native), English (fluent), Dutch (professional working proficiency, continuously improving), Turkish (intermediate). Driven by humanitarian principles, I thrive in dynamic environments and bring a collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented approach to my work.
