Lexington, Kentucky, United States
I have always had a passion for clothing and fashion. In March 2017, my dream of owning my own clothing store became a reality when my husband and I purchased Carl Meyers. Carl’s eye for elegant and sophisticated style is still evident in the clothing lines carried in the store along with several new designers that will be coming on board. Clients of the store can expect the same quality and service they have become accustomed to in their visits to the shop over the years. I have had years of experience in the retail industry and enjoy learning more as styles evolve. I studied Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles at the University of Kentucky for three years, and later graduating from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. I am thrilled to be back in Lexington after several years away from my hometown. My husband and I are honored to continue the legacy Carl began with the ladies clothing boutique that bears his name.

I worked for the City of London, KY as the Executive Director for London Downtown, Inc. for nearly 5 years. During my time in this position, I secured $1.4 million dollars in grants to improve the Downtown business district. The grant money launched a two-phase streetscape project that allowed the City of London to rebrand themselves: “London Alive, A Garden City”. This included new street signs and flower baskets all throughout the city. The matching grant money also influenced over 20 businesses to apply and receive grants to enhance and beautify the facades of their buildings.
