About

I'm an accidental creative. I failed my high school art exams and shelved my dream of pursuing a creative career to get a business degree. And it turned out to be exactly what I needed to become a copywriter and strategist who understands business. I've worked for some of the biggest brands in the UK, as well as some of the most exciting startups, crafting copy and steering strategy with one key thing in mind: commercial success. Emails I've written have made hundreds of thousands of pounds in revenue. Campaigns I've devised have appeared on every JC Decaux billboard in Britain and across Australia. My creative work moves the needle and fuels the businesses that I've been lucky enough to work with. I follow a brief and create innovative solutions. And that's no accident.

I've been there. That's why I started Frank & Josef - I want to help people who know what they need, but don't know exactly how to get there. We focus on: - Copywriting - Brand Development - Marketing Strategy

  • Copywriter at Ooni Pizza Ovens
    Nov 2022 - Jul 2024 · 1 yr 9 mos

As a copywriter at Ooni Pizza Ovens, I was responsible for much more than just writing. Based within the company's in-house creative agency and reporting to the Creative Director and Brand Director, I shaped this role to centre around brand strategy and product launch communications. With a background in retail, I organically worked the company's values and culture into the copy I wrote without losing track of our target customers. From emails that helped to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds in sales to billboards throughout downtown Melbourne, I created content that was engaging and effective. Working with designers and videographers, I created marketing materials that balanced commercial goals with Ooni’s unique tone of voice. Behind the scenes, I implemented new processes that streamlined the creative side of product launches and managed a copy team that was split across five countries. This role allowed me to merge creativity with commercial activities, as well as providing the opportunity to advise on broader brand strategy.
