1 - Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates. 2 -Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries. 3- Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. 4- Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments. 5- Responding to any issues or complaints. 6- Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers. 7- Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations. 8- Evaluating budgets and expenditures. 9 - Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements. 10- Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
• Manage the entire process in the planning of commodities procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, customs clearance, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities. • Ensure effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of commodities using the most appropriate procurement procedures. • Be responsible for introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery. • Ensure full compliance with DFID procurement rules and regulations and IMA World Health procurement policies and procedures. • Establish and implement a monitoring system that ensures that the prices paid for commodities are in line with local market prices. • Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection, and evaluation, quality and performance measurement mechanisms

Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries • Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading) • Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery • Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
