Participation in planning and construction for any new activities to ensure implementation of HSE regulations. Participation with specialist to check compliance of equipment and material supplied, which meet requirements of HSE. Participation with specialist in the preparation of basic and specific training programs to instruct the employees of the hazards and how to avoid them. Make sure that tests are satisfactorily passed. Attend meetings of HSE committees. Prepare a yearly plan of HSE improvement. Regular inspection of all areas under his responsibility including site facilities and other areas where required. Preparation of contractor’s daily inspection safety sheet, which shall be retained and available for inspection all times. Accident investigator as per Contractors requirements. Specific training courses as approved in the safety program and supplemented by any additional requirements of the company. Ensuring all records for vehicles drivers and lifting equipment as required by the Company. Preparation of emergency procedures. Preparation of safety statistics monthly required by the company. Obtain and be fully aware of relevant Contractors safety documents, and emergency procedures.
Assist in the development and ongoing review of the Construction Phase Plan Support teams in their site forward planning and leadership meetings for HSE implications Undertake site inspections and attend the Project Review Meetings Provide support with identification and management of HSE risks, issues and opportunities within the Region Support the Regional site teams with the effective management of HSE issues/ incidents / accidents / delivery of actions and embed lessons learned.
