• Spearheaded the redesign of the intraday position service, which handles tens of millions of requests a day. Iterated on designs, implemented an initial proof-of-concept, and ultimately delivered an improved service which decreased latency by 90% and doubled overall throughput with use of caching, parallel processing, and distributing load across clusters. • Drove efforts to increase reliability of services by introducing unit, integration, and performance testing. • Developed a federated single sign on solution that connects different Epic accounts across organizations using OAuth2, JSON Web Tokens, and secure public web services.
