Experienced vehicle dynamics control engineer and tyre dynamics expert with PhD qualification. Specialized in multi-body dynamics modelling and numerical analysis, motion control analysis and design for automotive systems. Currently work at Volvo Cars as Product Owner for ADAS & Autonomous Driving I was awarded PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands and my dissertation was on tyre models for shimmy analysis. Throughout my last 15 years working as a PhD candidate, engineer and researcher in universities and the automotive industry across continents, I have obtained a global experience in automotive R&D and innovation activites.
Predictive energy management for complete vehicle optimization.
Function development, testing and integration for Volvo Dynamic Steering system
• Tyre dynamics specialist . Responsible for tyre models in vehicle dynamic analysis, from modelling identification and integration to extension of new features. • CAE engineer . Work on simulations and analysis of vehicle dynamics as a part of Volvo vehicle product streams, both off-line analysis with ADAMS/Car and real time simulations with VI Grade dynamic simulator. • Researcher . EU and Swedish Vinnova projects. (co-)supervisor of PhD students.
The topic of PhD research is about tyre and vehicle dynamics. The work especially focuses on the impacts of linear and nonlinear tyre models on shimmy analysis. Nonlinear tyre models with contact patch dynamics, turn slip and rigid ring dynamics are considered in the study of shimmy phenomenon. Supervised by Prof. Henk Nijmeijer and Dr. Igo Besselink
Responsible for the measurements and related work on Flat Plank, a low speed tyre tester, in the Automotive Engineering Science Laboratory at TU Eindhoven.
Modelling and testing of vehicle handling, suspension K&C characteristics and tyre dynamics.
