Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
Update-- Now retired-- but board President of www.RedesignInc.org and board Secretary Treasurer of Seward Towers Corporation. Redesign is having a great 2024. We had the grand opening for the Coliseum rehabilitation on Lake Street and are now working on renting out the office and retail spaces. We had the groundbreaking for Wadaag Commons --39 unit affordable housing project with a significant number of 3 and 4 bedroom units-- in June. (That was after it took 6 years to get the financing in place. Check out RedesignInc.org for details. It's been a great 2024 for the Seward Towers Corporation (the Section 8 towers south of I-94 just west of the Mississippi--640 units). We got partial funding to add fire sprinklers for both buildings from Minnesota and that finally got through the state bureaucracy--construction started on adding the sprinklers this last summer. Prior experience has included work in nonprofit organizations, government, educational organizations and the private sector (My wife calls my past career "attention deficit disorder") .
