Reporting directly to the CICSO, providing strategic support and managing communications for a national IT and Cyber Security department with over 5000 employees and contractors, ensuring seamless operations and effective information flow. Strategic Leadership - Spearheading the development and execution of comprehensive IT strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and enhancing operational efficiency. - Stakeholder Engagement Fostering effective communication channels across all levels of staff, directly supporting the SVP, IT, and collaborating with the IT SLT and broader leadership team. Internal Communications - Pioneering and championing the development and adoption of a transformative communication strategy for the national IT department, significantly enhancing internal collaboration and streamlining information dissemination. - Developing and leading the implementation of internal IT communications plans, including key messages, communication channels, and tactics, ensuring a consistent and clear narrative. Cross-functional Collaboration - Working with cross-functional teams to increase collaboration and establish strong working relationships, driving continuous improvement and innovation. - Proactively assisting in identifying and resolving critical post-acquisition friction points, realigning the IT department’s operations with overarching company goals and strategic vision.
