I am a current graduate student at Columbia University, where I am pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainability Sciences. I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Soil and Water Science with a minor in Horticulture from West Virginia University. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I graduated from Madeira High School. I’m passionate about advancing environmental research and developing solutions that support sustainable land and water management. I am actively seeking internship opportunities that will strengthen my skills and prepare me for a career in environmental research, sustainability, and applied science.
Supported both routine lab operations and ongoing research projects focused on soil composition and properties. Prepared and processed soil samples, conducted tests for bulk density, aggregation, texture, and recorded results for analysis. Assisted with data entry, maintained organized records of test outcomes, and contributed to research efforts by compiling findings and helping interpret results. Data that I have collected has been presented at the undergraduate research symposium and more will be presented at the national soil science convention.
