Graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, followed by an MSW from UConn School of Social Work, with a focus on Individuals, Groups, & Family Practice. While pursuing the MSW, gained experience counseling youths and families at both a high school and a nonprofit organization. After the COVID-19 pandemic, transitioned from social work to tax services at H&R Block as a Client Service Professional (CSP), developing a strong interest in tax law. Progressed quickly within the field, advancing from Tax Associate to Tax Specialist in the same year after completing the CT AFTR tax update and earning the AFSP certification, going on to file over 400 tax returns. In September 2023, transitioned into a position as a Court Recording Monitor Trainee with the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, where responsibilities include operating critical audio recording equipment for the court record, transcribing live court proceedings, and producing accurate transcripts for both State officials and private parties in a timely manner with a typing speed of over 120 words per minute. This role supports the integrity and efficiency of judicial operations, while leveraging a background in psychology, social work, and tax services to contribute meaningfully to public service.
Promoted to Court Recording Monitor I from Court Recording Monitor Trainee after successfully completing the mandatory two-year probationary period required for advancement. Received comprehensive training in courtroom etiquette, legal terminology, and transcription skills. Accurately records court proceedings, operates recording equipment, and transcribes proceedings for certified transcripts. Has fostered a typing speed of 130 words per minute and utilizes a deep understanding of complex grammar and punctuation structures.

Fast paced internship at a magnet high school with a large proportion of 504/IEP/Spec. Ed students. Role included facilitating therapeutic groups, creating lesson plans, meeting individually, home visits, online billing for insurance, writing MSI notes and progress marks, and reporting at parent/staff meetings and PPTs. Internship was cut short due to COVID-19.
