Part of a senior design project team working in the Graduate Materials Research and characterization lab under Dr. Surojit Gupta performing research/characterization on ceramics and polymers. Responsible for manufacturing ceramics through sintering and other novel processes and gathering data on tested materials through characterization. Collaborated on projects with NASA Glenn, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth University, Army Research Laboratory, and the U.S. Navy.
Performed research/characterization on novel metals, and polymer matrix composites using Scanning Electron Microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman Microscopy, Tribology, and Optical 3D Profilometry under Dr. Stephen Berkebile and Dr. Surojit Gupta.
