Throughout my career I have excelled in my positions and continuously moved up through the ranks. I strive to be successful in all that I do and make in impact on the industry. Starting from a dishwasher and moving up to management at Panera Bread is where I leaned that I had a knack and a passion for leadership. Then again starting as a golf cart associate at Baytree National Golf course, moving up to the Assistant Golf Professional. I am someone who enjoys making connections and building them into long lasting relationships that assist with my growth throughout my career. I am looking forward to using what I have learned over the years to propel me into a successful career in the Human Resources field where I can continue to build these relationships and make in impact as a leader.
At Publix I have been working in the Deli part time to work my way through college. Here I have been working in the kitchen mostly where time management and a sense of urgency are key to be successful.
In this position I was in charge of associate training and scheduling as well as tracking membership fees and applications. This would include processing payments and making contact with members to ensure their payments are up to date. I would also track end of day financials and create forecasts for weekly and monthly sales included in the end of day tasks. This is also where I would enter associate data of hours worked and log the data into the payroll at the end of each week.
In this position I would handle associate training, day to day management of the restaurant, as well as end of day financial data entry. While holding this position I attended several management training seminars to advance my abilities as a manger and help my associates improve. In addition I would handle the scheduling of over 30 associates.
