The GEMO is responsible to the Air Operations Officer, Naval Support Activity Lakehurst (NSAL). The GEMO is responsible for: a) Technician certification in accordance with NAVAIR 16-1-520. b) Act as technical advisor for formulation and implementation for NSAL installations. c) Act as a liaison between NSAL and various bureaus and technical authorities for procurement and maintenance of electronic equipment and installations. d) Prepare electronic reports as directed by higher authority. e) Provide technical direction, supervision and assistance on all assigned equipment. f) Provide on the job training on all assigned equipment. g) Ensure the Ground Electronics Configuration is current. h) Installation Spectrum Manager. i) Installation Land Mobile Radio Manager.
