• Responsible for services and libraries that provide search workflows across all of FactSet's applications, handling thousands of request a second. • Added NLP support for finance specific queries and further enhanced logging capabilities to prepare for further analytics. • Assisted in the migration and deployment of an internal analytics platform to .Net Core and AWS using Terraform.
• Responsibilities include developing, and testing Web UI components used to build Factset's web application • Implemented various web UI components in Typescript and Vue during the development of new products and features • Refactored UI components by further abstracting and modularized them to allow for greater flexibility and reusability for engineers • Unit, image, and accessibility tested components using Gemini, Browser Stack, and AXE, to ensure performance across browsers, OS, and screen readers
• Developed and deployed a microservice based web application that cut down on discovery and diagnosis of production issues by over 80%, significantly improving response time and saving my team over a thousand hours a year • Implemented the ability to setup and manage custom event filters that look through incoming system event logs and notify themselves of a filter match through various methods (email, text, custom API) • The custom filter builder dynamically loads system log attributes associated with certain teams and the rule matching engine is designed to be abstract enough to work with any formatted JSON file message • GUI and backend were built with Jenkins and deployed using Kubernetes
