Seizing the opportunity to fulfil my passion for travel, I explored Nepal, Northern India, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, and Japan before returning permanently to Ireland. During an eventful, joyous, and fulfilling 6-month journey, I had the opportunity to check off several bucket list items. I trekked to Everest Base Camp, visited the Taj Mahal, and explored the African continent, including the Okavango Delta, Ngorongoro Crater, and Victoria Falls. I even went skydiving in the Namibian Desert. From marvelling at Angkor Wat in Cambodia and walking the Great Wall of China to visiting the Terracotta Warriors, I concluded my trip on a high note by spending time in Tokyo. This magical experience was full of personal growth and gave me a unique perspective on how many others live.
