In my experience I have learned to listen to those who are often never heard and grossly under represented. I have taken some unusual jobs and more conventional jobs. All have taught me the value of gratitude. When I finally understood the work I was meant to do it came quick and it came with a deeper understanding of self. I found myself drawn to Mindfulness based approaches, which has served well in all areas of work and personal development. DBT, behavior modification, and much needed boundaries are skills that have been developed and continually evolving. Everyone has a story and I believe that if you listen with the right intention then all will be revealed. Recently certified by the county of Santa Clara as Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS).
In my role as Director of Staff Development and Education at Crestwood Behavioral Health, I was responsible for creating and delivering competency-based training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge. I organized and maintained in-service calendars, updated and tracked all staff training hours, collected feedback through surveys, and provided various modes of continuing education to support employee growth as well as maintaining state and local compliance guidelines.
In my role as a Service Coordinator at Crestwood Behavioral Health, I assessed clients to identify treatment needs and coordinated interdisciplinary team meetings. I collaborated with medical staff to ensure effective treatment plans and discharge planning efforts, contributing to improved client outcomes.

By creating a supportive and loving environment, I ensured that each youth felt respected, heard, and valued as part of a family. Working closely with a dedicated team, we focused on meeting the individual needs of each youth to promote healing and growth.
In my role as an Administrative Assistant at Caminar, Inc., Eucalyptus House in Daly City, California, I managed office operations by organizing appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems. I assisted in report preparation, created presentations, and ensured equipment operation. I handled weekly petty cash and reconciled month-end on-hand petty cash boxes. Finally, I supported the team in decision-making processes through report preparation and presentations.
