About

Interior Design has always been part of my story—even before I knew it could be a career path. As a teen, I was constantly rearranging my bedroom furniture and reworking floor plans with my sister that were in the back pages of Mom's subscription to Country Living magazine. That early curiosity turned into a passion, and eventually, a profession. Now, I’m an Interior Designer based in the Philadelphia area with a specialty in Sports & Entertainment spaces. I’ve had the opportunity to work with both small studios and large firms, and contribute to projects across diverse sectors including Academic, Corporate, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Retail. One of my strengths is Interior Materials and Products—I’ve developed a knack for remembering surfaces and sources. Colleagues have said I have a photographic memory (I wish!), but what I can recall has definitely come in handy when someone was stuck and needed a quick suggestion. I’ve also had the privilege of contributing to several award-winning projects, which has been both exciting and humbling. It’s incredibly rewarding to see thoughtful design work recognized and celebrated.

    • Resource Coordinator
      Feb 2008 - Jan 2017 · 9 yrs

As Resource Coordinator I am responsible for the organization of the Interior Design Library in our flagship office. Using a variety of internal and external resources I review new products and design innovations and seek out solutions for our design problems. Our sample materials and product references are updated, cataloged, and filed regularly. Based in the Philadelphia office, I have also set-up and coordinated the resource libraries of the DC office and the newest location: New York. I also coordinate our department’s participation in the Drexel Co-op program. I interview, hire and train the students from their Interior Design program to work with us as Interior Design interns. It's a full time position for six months and I consider it a successful semester when they would rather stay with us than go back to class.
