Position Southwest as a lifestyle brand by introducing the company re-branding in September 2014. Since launch, lead and enforce brand standards: including tone, communication style, visual identity, and partnership filters. Responsible for Southwest Airlines’ marketing intellectual property portfolio, including: trademarks, merchandise agreements, licensing, and partnership review. Chair Integrated Entertainment Team, working to purposefully position Southwest in television, film, and music. Ensure all partnerships align with brand, provide dynamic content, and allow Southwest unique exposure that furthers the Customer Service story. Collaborate with social media teams to ensure marketing messages align with brand standards and objectives, providing ideation and content for facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and blog.southwest.com.
Responsible for multimedia advertising production from start to finish in order to accomplish strategic objectives of the Southwest Airlines commercial operation. Work with key stakeholders and executive leadership to set strategy for consumer-facing messaging, media strategy, and brand identity. Responsible for producing television, radio, out of home, print, and branded content pieces; managing editorial process; and communicating strategic feedback in a creative manner. Successfully manage relationships with multiple agency partners, producers, internal stakeholders, and front-line employees to facilitate the success of Southwest Airlines; including making those not associated with the multimedia production process comfortable in front of the camera as shining representatives of the Southwest Airlines culture. Coordinate filming locations, logistics, film permits, and aircraft requests. Work to ensure safety is the top priority on all shoots, especially around aircraft and large machinery. Work to position Southwest Airlines as a life-style brand reflective of American values and hard work, showing customers that Southwest is more than just an airline.
