My diverse background and experience means that I have a unique set of skills, well suited to the digital health space. I am currently working within a large multi-site EMR team an integration analyst. I enjoy working with a range of software systems, vendors and stakeholders. Support integration between the shared Epic® EMR (electronic medical record), Rhapsody integration engines and other systems in the Parkville Hospital Precinct (Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Peter McCallum Cancer Centre, Royal Children's Hospital).
• Developed, tested, deployed and supported HL7 interfaces for the Epic® EMR (electronic medical record) and Parkville Hospital Precinct (Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Peter McCallum Cancer Centre). • Worked within EMR project team, with software vendors and across different hospital sites to deliver integrated solutions for a variety of other systems including: imaging, fetal monitoring, endoscopy, infection control, theatre instrument management, consumable/ implant usage system. • Project managed each integrated solution through key phases of implementation including scoping, design, test installation, configuration, technical testing, UAT, documentation, deployment, monitoring and support. • Designed and completed specification documents for each integrated solution. • Developed and configured HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, SIU, ORM, MDM, DFT, MFN) within Rhapsody® Integration Engine and Epic® Bridges modules.
* Clinical advisor, subject matter expert and implementation lead for Omnicell automated medication cabinets in Australian hospitals * Successfully implemented Omnicell medication automation solutions in ~12 Australian hospitals and 1 veterinary hospital. * Key elements of role included system design, project planning, collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, training, equipment installation, medication data review and analysis, go-live planning and change management. * Became proficient in HL7 interface scoping, configuration, testing and deployment.
