I am a Psychology Honours graduate and Intern Psychometrist with a strong academic foundation and extensive practical experience in clinical, educational, and medical environments. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences with a major in Psychology and Counselling, as well as an Honours degree in Psychology, and I just completed my supervised psychometric practicum in preparation for the HPCSA board examination. My training includes over 720 hours of supervised psychometric experience through the University of Johannesburg, during which I have administered, scored, and interpreted a wide range of cognitive, personality, emotional, and vocational assessments across both clinical and educational settings. I am accredited on the AON and Thomas Assessment platforms and have hands-on experience with assessments such as the WAIS-IV, JSAIS, SSAIS-R, 16PF, BDI-II, PDSQ, DAT-S, and SAVII. Alongside my academic and psychometric training, I bring several years of professional experience within a multidisciplinary medical practice, where I have worked closely with ophthalmologists, patients, and medical aids. This experience has strengthened my attention to detail, ethical judgment, administrative competence, and ability to communicate effectively with both professionals and patients in high-pressure clinical environments. I am recognised for my professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills, which I take pride in approaching my work with empathy, structure, and accountability. I am motivated to continue developing my expertise within the psychometric and psychological assessment space and to contribute meaningfully to ethical, evidence-based practice.
