I'm an experience software engineer/architect. I'm taking classes in Deep Learning and am interested in applying what I've learned.
As part of the Engineering Leadership Team, I am bringing mindshare into the microservices/SaaS world. I am reorganizing our repo/CI structure. I designed infrastructure for key customer initiatives.
I redesigned our entire messaging bus system eliminating 60 million database calls per day, 3 single points of failure and increased throughput by an order of magnitude. I redesigned our storage solution improving our uptime by 20 9's, throughput capability by 100X and bringing us into GDPR alignment. I migrated our Java code into a monorepo improving code modularity and reducing CI time.
I started by resolving any non-web code related technical issues reported by clients. Then I moved to a group that brings data in and organizes it into a SQL database or a Document Management Database that leverages ElasticSearch and/or SQL depending on our searching needs. We also are responsible for multiple SQL databases where I am in charge of managing our schema and most of the important stored procedures, and we manage the ElasticSearch clusters.
