Sought to drive continued impact to MosaiQ through ERG development. Collaborated with MosaiQ leadership on developing and meeting program goals. Used data analytic to identify impactful programs and gauge participant engagement. Coordinated high-impact educational events and activities on identify based topics, and for core cultural heritage/milestone events. Leveraged data and research to shape and execute the Qualtrics DEI strategy.
In my role as a Backgrounds and Licensing Manager I directed talent risk assessment initiatives, leading the Backgrounds & Licensing department, conducting in-depth investigations for pre-hire applicants, employees, and vendors to ensure workforce integrity, compliance, and security. I optimized licensing and compliance workflows for 3,000+ employees across five properties and 150+ vendors, redesigning background check procedures and renewal processes to streamline operations and reduce processing time.
At the helm of the Backgrounds & Licensing department, I oversaw operational intricacies, steering comprehensive background investigations for prospective hires, existing staff, and vendor affiliates. With precision, I executed and scrupulously reviewed background and licensing reports, upholding strict adherence to database compliance standards for optimal accuracy and efficiency. Some of my key achievements include: • Streamlined and enhanced the processes related to backgrounds and license renewals, positively impacting more than 3K employees across five properties and over 150 vendor relationships. • Acted as the pivotal link, coordinating and liaising between Human Resources Recruiting team, Compliance, the National Indian Gaming Commission, and the Department of Justice - Bureau of Gambling Control to ensure full compliance with NIGC MICS and State Compact regulations.
