A new and exciting challenge has commenced in my BASF career: I will be rapidly enhancing and widening my Construction Systems experience while managing and supporting the Construction Systems Business Segments within our vast BASF Product Portfolio in the UAE.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the challenges of my new role incorporating responsibilities for sales, business development, product development and marketing with a vastly experienced team of dedicated colleagues across the Gulf Region as well as assisting with technical aspects that my sector experience permits. There is a refreshing feeling that comes with working in this incredibly diverse environment with an accomplished team of people here at BASF in the Gulf Region. BASF in the Middle East are led by an exceptional senior management team with unparalleled experience in the region and this is very well complimented by the various teams within the organization. The construction sector here is unique in it's current sheer massive scale and the extraordinary designs that push the boundaries of engineering excellence. Conceptual designs developing into live projects are the norm rather than the exception. Dubai Expo 2020 is also developing on the horizon and hundreds of thousands of visitors to Expo 2020 will be blown away by this incredibly enthusiastic, diverse and magnificently creative environment, on the once blank canvas of the desert! I'm relishing playing an active part in strengthening BASF's position as the best connected partner for construction systems and solutions across the Gulf region.
