FY1 Doctor in Nuneaton, West Midlands South deanery. Graduate from Cardiff University 2025. Besides that, I enjoy volunteering in events to help potential medical students in preparing for their medical school application. I also run an online art store on Redbubble and participate in many sports activities. I’m passionate in medical education and leadership, organising events to help educate individuals passionate in healthcare.
Stepping up into a bigger leadership role within the charity, overlooking support for directors and their respective teams whilst ensuring day-to-day operations for the charity on a wider scale is running successfully. The role involves being the direct link between directors and board of trustees for the charity, running monthly individual and core team meetings, promoting a healthy and mindful working environment between our volunteers.
Responsible for organising events for our students, providing the best resources and ensuring everything run’s smoothly logistically and operationally.
Responsible for finding mentors and mentees across Cardiff, matching them up to help the under-privileged students to apply to medical school.
Working together with my committee to continue organising academic and non-academic events for our international medical students, aiming to spread the awareness of diversity in Cardiff University Medical School. We will also be working on introducing CHIPS internationally, by getting sponsors and reaching out to medical schools overseas.
Work together with the committee to plan events and revision for our CHIPS members, widening the diversity in our society across Cardiff University. I represented CHIPS in the C21 Student Staff Task force group to tackle EDI problems within the university, organising Cardiff’s first Racial Awareness Day that will become an annual conference within Cardiff’s Medical School.
