I manage Una Brands' largest DTC verticals' online stores in all of the markets that we're in. I’ve always been obsessed with behaviour. For my thesis, I linked the socio-economic outcomes of social housing estates to the everyday behaviours of residents. Every night, I ask my dog, “what’s going on inside your head?” He never answers – I’m honestly not sure why. It’s been a struggle finding something in which I feel I can productively channel my curiosity. My first Product Manager role has been an eye opening experience; in almost everything I do, I get to think about behaviour. I’d say I’m doing pretty well, because: - I always ask “why” before asking “what”. - I excel at setting and delivering on requirements within a context of tight constraints. - In the absence of data, my gut instinct is generally good. In my current role, these are the most important things I’ve learnt: - Ruthlessly prioritising every thing, at every level, every day, keeps me focused and in control. - Going out of my way to make things smoother for the people around me makes my job easier. - I can’t possibly know everything. I like architecture, art, and fashion. I sometimes try talking about them to my dog; again, I really don’t know why he doesn’t respond.
Managed the largest verticals in an e-commerce rollup startup. Strategised and executed on multiple 0-1 and 1-n initiatives, including: - a 70% improvement in CVR for one vertical by optimising user journeys in key paid and organic acquisition channels. - spearheading market entry into Australia, netting 30% revenue growth for one vertical. - increasing 90-day LTV by 15% on a big ticket item vertical through post-purchase user flow enhancements.
