Working in the Sonabend lab as a student research assistant supporting translational and clinical research on neuro-oncology & glioblastoma.
With Northwestern’s Brain Exercise Initiative, I volunteer at Trulee Care facility. We engage Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients in memory activities proven to boost cognition and slow deterioration of the prefrontal cortex.
Worked among nursing staff by tending to patients basic needs,transporting patients throughout hospital, and room preparation. Answered call light to ensure patient comfort.
Assisted regenerative medicine research in the Peterson lab by cell counting, solution making, tissue mounting, inventory management. Performed literature searches on AAV serotypes efficacy in treating/preventing neurodegenerative diseases.
