Change Implementation Programme • Set up and oversaw 25 recruitment campaigns, affecting careers of ~300 staff navigating through change • Managed processes behind ~600 applications and ~300 interviews, and sat on multiple appointment panels • Managed up, guiding senior leadership through programme; maintaining fairness and equity for affected staff • Ensured transitioning to new structures ran smoothly, following 70 successful appointments Creating the new NHS England • Programme managed the Delivery directorate consultation for 15 months, affecting ~500 staff • Set up and helped run fortnightly Project Board meetings with NHS Directors to ensure the coordination and management of directorate level design activity • Produced consultation panel guidance and contributed to consultation documents • Helped guide Design Leads and Directors through critical stages of the consultation • Sat on assessment, check and challenge triage and moderation panels with direct consequences on recruitment • Deputised for Directors, demonstrating leadership during transformational change Long Term Workforce Plan • Supported NHS Workforce Plan Director to deliver Retention and Recruitment plan for 15-year long term workforce strategy as commissioned by Secretary of State for Health and Care • Managed master tracker for qual and quant programme-wide documentation, filled out by Directors and SROs • Led Chief HR & OD Officer and Systems Resourcing Director through weekly project management meetings
MedTech Funding Mandate Policy and Innovation programmes • Managed the MedTech Funding Mandate (MTFM) Policy development project and helped to write, review and edit the national policy guidance • Played a key role in stakeholder engagement helping to design and run a series of successful Partnership Learning Sessions and a 300-person webinar launching the policy • Engaged with technology companies, Academic Health Science Networks and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence • Supported NHS Supply Chain to get MTFM technologies ready for procurement; and Performance & Evaluation colleagues on building an MTFM compartment on Model Health System for reporting • Worked to standardise and align project management practices across all Innovation projects and the wider team, including introducing numerous project management tools and templates
Covid-19 Vaccination Programme - Estates • Conducted regional analysis to identify unvaccinated areas, review vaccination site performance and suggest potential new sites for Booster Programme • Supported with assurance of national vaccination sites for formal sign off • PM'd the design, build and maintenance of team’s Phase 3 vaccination site tracker • Ensured governance is in place and responded to external PMO requests • Led on risk management, weekly workstream updates and SitRep reporting Programme Delivery Team • Supported Associate Director with planning and operations to design future model of team • Facilitated business planning workshops and created an action plan based on the team’s feedback, as well as revised the team’s skills matrix • Led resourcing project, developing and building new software which aims to efficiently track + monitor resourcing requests, store data on pool members and automate reporting • Designed, negotiated and organised virtual training for team of 60, incl.
