• Manage consumer NPI mechanical and thermal component qualification, manufacturing technology management and MP readiness. • Represent Operations during early product life cycle and provide manufacturability, quality, cost and yield impact information to design, sourcing, and manufacturing engineering teams. • Ensure clear product specifications, such as CMF (color, material and finish), cosmetic spec, 2D drawing and reliability requirement. • Lead suppliers to establish efficient fabrication process flow and to drive solutions to problems that are or might adversely affect MP. • Provide manufacturability feasibility analysis, identify risks, develop mitigation plan and apply risk minimizing techniques to optimize manufacturability. • Perform surveys and audits for new supplier selection and qualification with functional teams. • Implementing KISS principle (keep it simple, stupid), handle DFM exception agreement. • Address front line production and manufacturing product issues, monitor health of fleet and initiate investigation of issues, and root cause product failures and drive corrective action. • Own yield and efficiency improvement actions and process change decisions based on statistical process control (SPC) data analysis to meet target capacity. Manufacturing waste reduction, cost optimization proposals as well as cosmetic appearance improvement. • Have balanced design and manufacturing experience and passion for manufacturing process optimization, craftsmanship and quality delivery as well as a background in consumer product mechanical design and manufacturing environment. • Be a self-starter, a leader with a deep sense of dedication • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-cultural teams. • Experience in functional tolerancing, GD&T, SPC, NUDD, system assembly/testing, and a solid grasp of NPI processes. • Ability to navigate ambiguity, focus on essential issues, simplify complexity, and take practical steps towards a solution.

Participate in tooling supplier evaluation and factory audit work, evaluating suppliers' technical capability. 4. Support the team leader to improve the department management system and optimize the design process.
1. Participate in the development and design of PMP project for mechanical switch products, to ensure that the design concept and product functions meet customer requirements. 2. Create all technical documents ( 2D, and 3D drawings, measurement specifications, assembly conditions, and requirements ) for new product development. 3. Provide improvement solutions according to the needs of marketing, industrialization, quality, and other teams. 4. Responsible for providing detailed specifications of products. 5. Make the prototype to validate to ensure that product function, force, and the tests meet design requirements. 6. Use design tools for Tolerance Analysis, ISO8015 form and position Tolerance marking, Creo simulation, DFMEA, etc. 7. Ensure correct technical delivery documents are provided on time at each project stage. 8. Responsible for maintenance and improvement of mass production PEP projects, solving customer complaints, and optimizing cost reduction requirements of internal teams.
1. Participate in developing and designing new server products, design 3D products, and create 2D drawings of assembly and parts. 2. Looking for new materials or substitutes for project cost control. 3. Work with EE, layout engineer to complete PCB card placement and 2D drawing. 4. Completed Cabling 3D of the system and created BOM. 5. Do the Tolerance Analysis to verify 3D design, 2D tolerance and Interference Analysis before tooling starts. 6. Made Prototype for design verification, and worked with other functional teams to optimize product design. 7. Do the DFM and DFA review with suppliers before tooling starts for design optimization. 8. Take part in the trail production on the supplier side to check the tooling sample and confirm that the assembly line was running smoothly. 9. Review assembly SOP, and SIP of supplier and factory. 10. Review the approval sheet for the product before MP, including FAI, CPK, GR&R, material certificate, UL card, test report, etc. 11. Understand ID appearance inspection specification, reliability test report, printing film, painting spec, Pantone comparison, and other related knowledge. 12. Understand Thermal, Acoustic, Packing, Shock& vibration, Reliability, Safety, and EMC test results, and optimize the design according to the feedback. 13. Participated in trial production, collected the issue on the assembly line for design optimization, and debugged after Mass Production. 14. Maintain and design optimization for the project after the MP stage.
