Second shift supervisor in MVDC's PTL department. Oversees fifty associates while supporting an additional hundred alongside two other supervisors. Overlooks all Ross and DD's Discounts merchandise to ensure it is distributed to our stores in a quick and efficient manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; tracking department and associate performance, ensuring both inbound and outbound sides of the business are running efficiently, and working with different areas of the DC to reduce any off-standard or down time.
Assisting the greater L.A. area with the launch of various DashMart warehouses. Responsible for inventory control, freight flow, scheduling, hiring, and being a leader for the DoorDash brand.
I am responsible for running and maintaining half of the store. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising store associates, leading our team in freight put-away, giving direction on our stores merchandising standards, opening and closing the building, ordering my sides product, and coaching all of our associates to ensure their success with the company. I have supervised and led at three different locations and have overseen departments that focus on anything from coffee and kitchen gadgets, as well as health and beauty products.
I was responsible for booking, checking in, and hosting all parties of various sizes. The parties consisted of anywhere from ten to thirty people and it was not uncommon for companies and organizations to buy out the building. My role was similar to a waiter at a restaurant, as I would talk with the parents consistently to see what they need and organize games for their kids to play on the trampolines. On top of this, I was responsible for prepping, cooking, and serving our parties and general guests that came to our establishment.
