In my senior year of college, I became an Economics Tutor to give back to the UCSC community by helping Freshman and Sophomore students understand microeconomic and macroeconomic principles because of my passion to give back to the community. After graduating, I wanted to continue to give back to the community so I jumped on the opportunity to become a data analyst intern at a non-profit organization On-Ramps to Careers who teach tech skills to DC Public School High School Students to help them get into tech positions later in life. On-Ramps to Careers asked me to create regression models to show the statistical significance by measuring their salaries after high school to those who did not enter the program controlling for different variables to show these insights on their website to increase donor dollars- these deliverable insights were posted on the On-Ramps to Careers website. After the internship, I transitioned to become an autistic behavioral therapist eventually becoming a certified registered behavior technician, providing direct behavioral intervention through behavior and data analytic principles to autistic children, helping them functionally communicate with others from a very early age - I saw the progression of children who couldn’t talk to be able to speak full sentences within a year’s time. After doing work to give back to the youth, I wanted to re-transition to work that was more closely related to my Economics major. As such, I became a development and corporate leasing intern at WC Smith ending last year creating deliverable insights using mostly Microsoft excel to measure WC Smith’s Pipeline against their competition and to look at market rents across the Capitol Riverfront and Bethesda areas.

Leasing • Assist applicants through the leasing process, ensuring completeness and compliance of rental documentation. • Manage and update applicant ledgers and data entry for WC Smith’s Rent Registry. • Support leasing team with compliance reviews for tax-credit properties. • Maintain consistent communication with residents and applicants to ensure a streamlined move-in process.
• Provided in-home and classroom-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. • Implemented treatment plans designed by Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs); monitored progress and suggested goal modifications. • Collected, analyzed, and interpreted ABC data (Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence) to identify behavioral patterns and inform intervention strategies. • Collaborated with parents and families to address behavioral challenges and improve skill acquisition. • Maintained detailed session records and summarized progress reports for clinical review.
• Delivered evidence-based ABA interventions to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). • Used the Catalyst data platform to record longitudinal behavior data and track skill progression. • Partnered with families to reinforce therapy strategies outside of sessions through ongoing communication and debriefs.
• Established and led a 3-person data analytics team focused on alumni outcomes research. • Designed and managed survey data collection to assess career outcomes of On-Ramps alumni. • Conducted statistical analysis in Stata to compare entry-level salaries by college major and demographic factors. • Produced visual reports and summaries that were published on the organization’s website to support donor engagement efforts.
