I’m an extremely hard worker and I adapt to any environment that I’m placed in. I work well with others, but I’m also proficient alone. I prefer being a team leader but I do just as well taking order & following instructions. I have skills in many different attributes and I’m happy to go above and beyond for my peers and my company!
When I first started my role was to unload/ load trailers with the merchandise living spaces provided. Each item weighing about 50-400lbs 50 being the lightest they have. My second half of working there I was a heavy machine operator and drove a cherry picker also known as an OP Lift. With that I handled the same merchandise alone placing & removing merchandise off the shelves accordingly. This job taught me extremely valuable work ethic and how to lift heavy items properly.
I was initially hired as a Sales Associate, but within 2 months was promoted to the marketing director for the Alessandro location of La Fitness. I got the position due to my charismatic nature in making people feel comfortable enough to close a deal with me for the simple reason that I didn’t come off “salsey” to them. I also have a strong work ethic and had the highest sales in memberships for 3 months in a row. I learned a lot of great disciplinary & sales skills from this job.
I trained people how to un-jam conveyors and reset the photo eyes on the lines of the warehouse to ensure everything was running smoothly. I also operated heavy machinery such as a cherry picker, forklifts, and wavelifts aswell. This job required me to be quick on my feet, preform tasks upon scheduled requirements, lift heavy objects, and lead others to make sure they were preforming there tasks aswell. Over-all this job created great leadership development for myself.
I was a door-to-door salesman who sold solar panels to the residents of California. I mainly worked in the Ontario area in the suburbs. This was my first ever sales job and where I learned good communication skills from the most. This job taught me the value in perseverance.
I was a shift manager who ran the front desk and made pizzas. This was my first leadership position so I learned a lot of valuable tips here in order to run a business properly. I would cashier, make pizzas, manage deliveries, supervise others, while serving customers in the restaurant as-well. This job creates great learning capabilities for multitasking and leadership development.
