The fields of Microbiology and Molecular Biology are my passion. Licensed Public Health Microbiologist with the Riverside County Public Health Laboratory, leading the Molecular and WGS Surveillance sections. Grad student at UC Berkeley in the MSSE program. 7 years of microbiology, research, and clinical laboratory experience. Experienced with experimental design, statistical data analysis and modeling, in-silico genomic and proteomic analysis using various bioinformatics tools and pipelines, assay and method development, technical writing, whole genome sequencing, performing a wide variety of high complexity wet lab techniques, assays, and methodologies for microbial, protein and nucleic acid isolation, detection, and quantification, designing and conducting verification and validation studies per CLSI and CLIA standards, project management, and laboratory management.
