Summer associate in the Corporate practice.
Reviewed term sheets, drafted motions, and provided research memos on various issues for County Counsel attorneys.
As an intern I visited several of Public Counsels' clinics and wrote profiles on them for the firm's website. My work highlighted the benefits of Public Counsel's community services throughout Los Angeles county.
I worked in the research department at LPLP and focused on the history and legal developments between the Lakota Sioux tribes and the South Dakota/federal government. I significantly contributed to various LPLP published reports, some of which were sent to Congress for consideration and received attention from national media publications. Published reports include "The Case for Tribal IV-E" and "The New Boarding Schools."
