I took on the task of technical manager of the Software Quality Assurance team. I have a "coaching" manager perspective. I am responsible for the development of our friends who work as Software Quality Assurance specialists in software product teams, to improve themselves and each other, to carry out activities that will increase the quality of the software offered to the customer, and to increase the awareness of the teams on this issue. I take an active role in the development and maintenance of test automations.
In the first years of my technical leadership, I worked by giving priority to the Agency Yazılım team. Afterwards, I took care to touch all software teams by increasing my area of influence. I have been involved in helping them solve their problems, submitting POCs on new topics, monitoring software performance, improving software quality, reviewing code. I tried to lead the way in clean code, software quality and process improvement. I took an active role in the company's cloud migration project. I started to lead the agile software development and increase the awareness of SCRUM within the company and gave in-company trainings. I took part in the modernization processes of applications.
I took part in the team that developed the "YNA Ship Agency" software used in domestic and international shipping agencies. I made new feature requests. I took the responsibility of some newly built modules by myself. The tools, components and technologies we use; ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Telerik Web Components, LLBLGEN, ORACLE In this project, I came to the fore in issues such as problem solving, performance troubleshooting, software tool version updates.
I took part in the software team that developed the ERP application for the İzmir Basma Factory. As a team, we first learned the RPG programming language, then we started development. It was a very enjoyable and instructive experience to see the software needs of a factory in production and to solve them with software. Our software project was terminated due to the financial difficulties of the factory, which is the sponsor of the project, during the economic crisis.
