Responsible for plastic injection molds, machines and process invesment purchasing.
Commodity that is responsible : Headlamp & Rearlamp plastic parts, detail parts, moulds, equipments. Responsibilities; - Implementing price estimation studies for proposal requests from customers. - Managing the supplier nomination process. - Managing the nomination and manufacturing process of mold, counter, fixture, metallization hanger-mask and investment equipments. - Managing prices & budgets of suppliers. - Monitoring international trends in raw material and economical indications for effective negotiations. - Executing the cost reduction projects of the final products (together with Production, R&D, Quality). - Managing market search activities. - Benchmarking the current status of the commodity. - Updating and revising existing purchasing procedures to introduce cost cutting measures balancing regional and global approaches. - Contract management in compliance with laws, the norms and the company guidelines. - Providing assistance to all departments in relationship with suppliers as required. - Managing the quality process in the production of plastic parts and investment equipment in line with the desired standards. - Participating Supplier Risk Assesstment program (Risk Groups: Financial, Fixed Assets, Business Sustainability, Supply Chain, Management, Safety, etc). - Measuring and reporting appropriate departmental KPI's. - Converting the requests made during the project process into orders, tracking the procurement of the product / service subjectto the order and taking invoices. - Obtaining part quality approval until the date of mass production. Project follow-up for 3 months after the serial production date, closing open issues and handing over the project to serial purchasing.
Source and price research of all the needs within the scope of auxiliary material, making proposal studies, price entries and reporting. - Implementing the order process and procuring the materials. Creating alternative supply sources for all imported / locally supplied auxiliary materials and managing the import process. - Managing domestic and foreign suppliers. - Implementing and evaluating proposals for all equipment(auxiliary materials, bench, apparatus, assembly lines etc.) and service needs and completing the approval process by entering the Marelli / Automotive Lighting Central Approval System. - Implementing and evaluating offers regarding scrap sales and making a sales agreement. - Preparation of alternative price analyzes in each new price period, making periodic price agreements based on cost reduction. - Organizing and participating in supplier visits to evaluate the companies that will join the supplier portfolio. - Implementing negotiation processes with suppliers in the category, organizing and monitoring tenders for appropriate materials and services within the specified criteria and supply chain and procurement procedures. - Fulfillment of necessary procedures on health and safety, environment and energy issues. - Keeping up-to-date maintenance contracts in areas of responsibility and renewing, supporting the analysis and improvement studies of existing processes and systems. - Taking role in improvement projects in order to optimize and increase efficiency in the purchasing process.
Following up all the machines in the field and involving in optimizing and efficiency process works. - Implementing the product specifications and performance criterias of the product to the production process (including development of the process parameters). - Planning,developing and improving the production methods and material movements in order to increase OEE. - Monitoring the automation system and implementing process inspection. - Implementing TPM and coordinating the maintanence activities of the machinary and moulds. - Orientation and training of new employees, development and monitoring of individual employee goals. - Line KPI tracking and reporting of the recovery plan accordingly done and line performance. - Process making simplification study. - Making the process design, the layout of the necessary equipment, to determine the number of operators and the target time. - FMEA used in series production , operation cards, manufacturing synoptics, autonomous maintenance cards, preparation and updating of skills matrix and use the card machine. - Determination of process safety risks and to initiate improvement works against them. - Process affecting ODM's making the necessary revisions and follow-up. - Suggestions, Kaizen, TND, 5S, autonomous maintenance, organizing training related to the OEE and production process and data. - Taking action with instant tracking of the position and the failures in the series.
