Sergio Torralbo holds almost 30 years of experience, of which 24 in the Pharmaceutical Industry, with global experience in automation, engineering, procurement and facility services operations. He has worked in Alstom, Siemens, Lear Corporation, Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis and, currently, in Takeda. He holds a Bachelor in Telecommunications, with specialization in Automation and Electronics, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona, where he graduated with honors. Sergio is today the Global Head of Automation in Takeda, based in Zürich, Switzerland. He holds a MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona and was Chair of ISPE Spanish Affiliate during 2009 and 2010 (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering). Passionate on team leadership and people development, Sergio is currently leading the global automation strategy and its implementation in Takeda, as a key part of the company's digital journey.
The MRO global program provides the overall project management, strategy development and stakeholder management (internal and external) to champion and advocate streamlining and simplification of spare part planning and inventory management to reduce overall costs, improve productivity and efficiency of facility repair and operations across Takeda. The lead will manage the governance process, measure and track performance of our service partners, including managing the relationship, conducting Business Reviews with internal sites and service partners to ensure sustainable performance of service to all participating sites and resolve issues that are escalated from the facilities/sites to the proper governance team
Capital Supplier Performance & Innovation Manager (SP&I) or, in other words, Capital Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) of Novartis 44 Capital Tier 1 suppliers. The scope of the role is cross-divisional, including Novartis Pharma, Sandoz and Alcon divisions. The role drives the long term partnership between Novartis group and its Tier 1 suppliers, maximizing the value out of each relationship to achieve the ambitious cost and performance agreed goals.
