I build and scale businesses, on both sides of the marketplace. Over fifteen years I’ve taken companies from $0 to over $2B in GMV, owning full P&Ls at VC and PE-backed businesses and pairing aggressive growth with durable improvements in profitability. At Back Market I spent seven years building the US business from zero to $300M+ and scaling the global business from $30M to $2B+ in GMV. I helped raise close to $1B in equity at a $5.7B valuation and lifted the marketplace take rate from 8% to 15%, turning growth into margin. Earlier, I led business development and innovation for Amazon’s Audible as it grew from $0.5B to $1B+, running a beloved consumer brand inside a much larger parent and signing global partnerships with Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, and Google. Most recently, as CEO of Indagare, I led the digital and AI transformation of a premium travel business and delivered record profitability in year one. I’m at my best taking a strong brand or platform with product-market fit and building the commercial engine, the partnerships, and the team that turn it into a category leader and a compelling business at exit. I’ve done this in consumer and in B2B, in marketplaces and in API-led platforms, and across e-commerce, travel, and consumer technology.
